D.J. enrolls in etiquette school and learns that manners take hard work. After a series of mishaps, Mom decides etiquette school is not for D.J., but with his grandfathers help, D.J. polishes his manners, learns how to be a gentleman, and gets his bike.

Emile F. Henriquez teaches part time in Louisianas parochial school system. He studied drawing, painting, design, and art history at Tulane University and has worked as a graphic illustrator since 1963. Henriquez has also illustrated Pelicans popular D.J. Series. He lives in New Orleans, Louisiana.
