Dr Alvin H. Schmaier is the Robert W. Kellermeyer Professor of Hematology and Oncology and Chief of Hematology and Oncology at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. He is formally a Professor at Temple University and the University of Michigan. At both institutions he was Director of the Coagulation Laboratory and at the University of Michigan he was course Director of the Hematology sequence from 1999-2005.
