Most of the warriors are taken off duty and told to get some rest. Only a few are posted to watch over the new arrivals. The good thing about posting warriors on watch is that it took just a few to watch over the small opening through the fog. Two warriors are on duty just outside the opening to the valley entrance and two are on duty just inside the entrance. They split the night into 2 shifts to cover what was left of the night.
As the fairies awakened from their sleep and go outside to look around they see beauty everywhere. In between two small waterfalls they could see a stretch of white water rapids. They did not look threatening and looked like they could be fun to go river rafting. The farthest waterfall is large and appears to be coming right out of the mountains. Following the river toward the southeast, it slows to a calm rest, in a beautiful cove, not very big, but large enough to slow the river on its way eastward. Even though they can not see the end of the river, the fairies knew it continues on out of the valley.
Looking due south and directly in front of them they see a green thick forest of trees that leave a clean healthy smell in the air. Just behind this forest is the southern mountain range where they had traveled on the ridge trail just outside of the valley before entering last night. In the east another range of mountains have sparse trees and large boulders scattered upon them. Then turning behind them, while sipping of cups of various hot teas, they see a large flat solid rock plateau that runs the full length of the valley from the west to the east. It is massive and it is almost impossible to climb to the top. As they look to the west, a set of rough craggy granite mountains come into view. There does not appear to be a passage through them. Only the large waterfall flows from them in a magnificent show of white and clear water dropping into the river below. The Sparkling Light Fairy Family realizes they have arrived in their new home.
It is magnificent!
